But that is not nearly as unusual as her house which has legs and takes them all over the world. Sadly, that also means that Marinka never has any friends. When the opportunity arises for her to make a friend, she jumps at it only to find that her grandmother has disappeared.
15. Flora & Ulysses
Author – Kate DiCamillo
This is an origin story which will rival any Marvel or DC superhero. Vats of chemicals, deceased parents and vacuum cleaners – you never know! And neither did Ulysses, a squirrel who has now been bestowed with superpowers. Flora, obsessed with superheroes, really thought she could save the squirrel. The book is great enough there will be a movie coming out of the same name in February 2021.
16. Secrets of Valhalla

Do you love time bending novels? Secrets of Valhalla is a perfect Norse retelling. Buzz and Mary have the shock of their lives when they find the weatherwoman tied to a tree but what is even more surprising is that she is a Norse Goddess – one of the 7 who keep the days cycle in check. Now that the people on Earth are living the same day over and over again, Buzz and Mary have to find the rest of the day guardians before Loki decides to destroy everything.
17. The Girl Who Stole an Elephant

This adventurous story by the Sri Lankan writer is all heart warming and wholesome. Chaya is a hero. As simple as that. She has responsibilities towards the jungle and she leads her elephant and her friends straight into the revolution which is taking place in the forest.

24. The Whispers
